The 3253 incorporates dual thermal barriers to create a very efficient system that exceeds the CSA A440 and DoE Building Energy Code requirements.
The 3253 curtain wall has a 2 ½” profile with an 8” total depth and a deep glazing pocket to accept a 2” insulated triple glazed unit. Designed towards fabrication efficiency the system is dry glazed and features a pressure bar glazed pocket. The 3253 is an outside glazed, shear block erected system with injection molded end dams to control infiltrated moisture. Dual or two-tone colors can be achieved by specifying different finishes for the exterior face caps and interior mullions.
